- Penny is knowledgeable in real estate and specifically the Savannah market. She helped me make an offer quickly on a house in a hot market, ensuring my offer took the appraisal into account, and included protections for certain types of issues specific to my purchase scenario which included a rental agreement. When I had issues with the bank that had agreed to finance the purchase and later delayed the sale past closing and finally reneged she assisted in communication with the buyer and other agent to keep the deal alive so I could finance the home another way.info6809304
- Penny helped my wife and I buy our first home in 2015. As first time buyers, we were. quite frankly, ignorant about the process. She helped us out tremendously. We looked for about 3 months in early 2014 then put the search on hold for almost a year until we got our finances in a little better shape to up our pre-approval amount. Once we got where we wanted to be, we contacted Penny who was more than happy to work with us again even though our first attempt was less than fruitful for her. We looked for roughly 2 months and thought we found our home. We had a few reservations. It was a condo (more like half a duplex in my eyes) and we had to share a wall with someone. While we were there she pulled up some info on a listing that had just recently become available again quite literally just down the street. That house ended up being the one we wanted. She helped us negotiate a decent price and seal the deal. It was overall a far less painful process than I was told and I'll attribute the majority of that to Penny. We got a nice little house warming gift from her as well as a "thank you" card for choosing her to help us purchase our home. It was an amazingly nice gesture I never expected. Then, that Christmas, we received a box of cookies in our mailbox from Penny and the other Realtors in her group. They have continued to send us Christmas cards ever since! If/When we decide to upgrade to a new home locally we will definitely be giving Penny a call!spartizzles
- I consider myself a very picky person but Penny is really fantastic! I am a first time home buyer. Nevertheless, I had strong opinions about what I wanted in a home. Penny explained the buying process to me clearly, helped me locate homes that could fit my requirements, was very responsive throughout the process, and gave me great advice. She also suggested certain conditions to be included in the contract that I wouldn't have thought of asking (and I am quite demanding). Penny showed me my new home on a Friday afternoon, I decided to make an offer that evening. Penny met up with me at 9am on Saturday morning to take care of the paperwork and helped me reach an agreement with the seller by noon on Sunday. This was possible only because Penny knows her stuff, is extremely efficient, very professional, and cares about her clients. Most importantly, when there was a misunderstanding with the seller, Penny ensured that all my requests for repairs were fulfilled. In sum, Penny is amazing at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone!reickardt
